Celebrating APAAR 7th Birthday

APAAR turned seven on 25 March 2021 in a low profile celebration with APAAR friends : artist Kimi Juneja , Dr Anjali ( also an artist) and Dr Yash. The chocolate cake was outstanding. There was butter scotch ice cream after playground time. The Parents’ Social planned some weeks ago had to be canceled due to the covid surge in Punjab. APAAR has a come a long way from a lobby in a Model Town home to a respected organisation with donated space on the beautiful PIMS campus. We have an organic orchard too. We are now a dedicated team of trained professionas spreading our wings. We have a sheltered workshop plus community presence in Abaadpura and four villages in Jalandhar district. We will soon have a social worker ( an MSW ) on staff. Our donors are few yet but they trust and love us. Another b’day. Another YEAR OF CHANGING THE LANDSCAPE for the rights of persons with ID.
