APAAR Abhaar 2021 was celebrated in Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar on 6 Feb 2021 on a fine sunny day. The District Social Security Officer was not able to come. Child Protection Officers and UDID in charge in Civil Hospital , Jalandhar Dr Anu Dugala graced the occasion as chief guests. APAAR Abhaar was not held in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic. Clients and staff sang Shabads from the Guru Granth Sahib with Davinder Singh, their beloved music teacher . The APAAR anthem Hum honge kaamyaab was sung with gusto , Earnings from sales of paper bags and niche APAAR handicrafts in 2019 and 2020 were distributed to seven clients , They ranged from Rs 4000 to Rs 8000. APAAR remains a unique rehab organisation in this regard in north India. Dr Anu Dugala extended her offer for help to clients who do not yet have UDID cards. The celebration ended with samosas , cake and tea.
