Guest of honour to apaar

On May 22, 2022 the Brahmkumari Rajyog Sewa Kendra , Green Park Jalandhar held an event to honor some NGO’s contribution to society. Rajesh Johar, manager Apaar and trustee, Ravneet Bains accepted the award May 22 2022. Rajesh made the audience aware of the discrimination and cruelties faced by the specially abled in Punjab today . At Apaar we take our clients on outings and respect their work and high ethics in our sheltered workshop. They are confident young men with higher self esteem and well-being . We have also placed clients in community jobs but success has been sparse due to lack of societal support including family support. Rajesh also apprised all that Apaar provides health insurance scheme Niramaya up to medical expenses of Rs 1 lakh annually as well as assistance for UDID cards for the specially abled.
